Creating AI-suggested charts

  1. Open a project in the editor or start a new project.
  2. In the project editor, click Add chart in the left side toolbar, then select Data to chart.
  3. Click +XLS or CSV format to upload a data file or select Paste data tab to paste.
  4. Your data preview will appear on the right. Optionally, enter a description of your data in the 'What's the data about?' text field to improve chart suggestions.
  5. Click Suggest charts to preview six best suggested charts. Each chart also has a short description. 
  6. Click Insert to add the chart to your project.

Changing chart type with AI suggestions

If you've already created a chart in your project, you can use the AI-powered suggestions to find a better chart type.

  1. In the project editor, right-click on the chart and select Suggest charts, or 
  2. click to select the chart, hover over the chart thumbnail at the top of the right-side settings panel, click the Change button, then Suggest charts. 
  3. Your data preview will appear. Optionally, add a description of your data in the 'What's the data about?' text field to improve chart suggestions.
  4. Click Suggest charts to preview six best suggested charts. Each chart also has a short description. 
  5. Click Change to replace the chart in your project.
